The Assistant Manager will supervise daily operations at Savory Grill.
Hires and trains restaurant staff.Organizes and oversees the staff schedules.Strong leadership skills and ability to train and mentor staff.
Duties / Responsibilties
Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards.Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with standards.Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
Required Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, and health and safety regulations.Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.Excellent time management skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Authorization to work as confirmed by E-Verify
Education and Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.21 years of age and must have a valid Responsible Beverage Service certification (RBS)San Diego Food Safety Manager certification required
Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.Must be able to lift 35 pounds at times.
